Pamela Mar is Director, Sustainability for the Fung Academy and the Fung Group, based in Hong Kong. In this role, she leads the Academy’s work in supply chain futures, which explores how new technologies and new approaches to data and learning build capability and sustainable, competitive advantage in emerging markets supply chains. Concurrently she is also a Fellow of the Asia Global Institute, a think tank that generates Asian perspectives on global issues.

Prior to joining the Fung Group, Ms Mar was a Director in the Global Finance Center of TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings, a Chinese television and consumer electronics manufacturer. Prior to that, she worked with the World Economic Forum as Associate Director for China, and with the Thai NGO, Population and Community Development Association, based in Bangkok. Pamela has published widely and is the author of several books on Asian business and development issues.

She has also given numerous talks on sustainability, supply chains and Asia’s growth and development. Pamela graduated from Yale University summa cum laude and holds an MSc Management with honors from the London School of Economics.
