Mr. Syed Munir Khasru has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, US. He heads the international think tank, the Institute for Policy, Advocacy, and Governance (IPAG). Prof. Khasru has delivered lectures, made presentations, and moderated sessions on all of these issues. He has spoken at conferences including the World Economic Forum, the 16th Asia Security Summit, the T20 Summit, SouthSouth Cooperation and 4th Asia Research Forum.

During the conference on South-South Cooperation (SSC) in New Delhi, Prof. Khasru formulated the COLD Model (Connect, Organize, Learn, & Develop) to boost SSC which was appreciated for its visionary content. He was one of the speakers in the South Asia Economic Conclave by the World Bank, Government of India and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Internationally, Prof. Khasru writes for the Project Syndicate, and some of the leading media outlets of Asia which includes the Straits Times (Singapore), the South China Morning Post (Hong Kong) and Nikkei Asian Review (Japan). His presence in Indian media includes the Hindu and the Times of India.
