Ebrahim Patel is a South African entrepreneur who has founded and run a number of businesses.

Currently he is the CEO of Magellan Private Investments, Director of Siyaxoxa Technologies and serves on a number of boards. He was previously the CEO of Gold Reef Properties and then of Orchid Hotels Africa.

Ebrahim is the current National President of the Minara Chamber of Commerce and Deputy Chairperson of Business Forum South Africa. He served as the Chairperson of the KZN Business Chambers Council and on a number of bi-lateral Business Councils.

He is a member of the KZN Provincial Government’s Economic Council and serves on the International Relations Committee of the City of Durban. He is a trustee of the Ethekwini Community Foundation .

Ebrahim is an International Advisor to the World Islamic Economic Council and Chairman of the WIEF Young Leaders Network. He is a member of the Advisory Council to the University of KwaZulu Natal Extended Learning Centre. The Crans Montana Foundation named him in 2011 as a Future Leader of Tomorrow.
